Search Operation at Gul Plaza Completed, Building to Be Sealed Tomorrow
**Islamabad:** Deputy Commissioner (DC) South Karachi, Javed Nabi Khoso, announced that the search operation at Gul Plaza, site of the devastating fire, has been completed on the eighth day. He said the building will be officially sealed tomorrow.
Speaking to the media, DC Khoso stated that families with missing persons can still contact authorities. Out of 79 missing individuals, 13 families have yet to provide DNA samples.
He further said that of the 73 confirmed fatalities, 23 have been identified through DNA matching, while 55 families have submitted DNA samples.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the total number of missing persons remains 79, all of whom are listed in official records. He urged the public to avoid entering the affected building, noting that marking has been placed for safety.
