Mosque and Holy Qurans Remain Safe in Gul Plaza Fire Incident

Karachi: In a remarkable development, the mosque located on the first floor of Gul Plaza remained safe during the devastating fire that engulfed the commercial building.

According to details, despite the intense blaze, the mosque, the Holy Qurans placed inside it, and the prayer rows (saff) remained completely unharmed. A video recorded by a rescue official has gone viral on social media, showing that while the fire caused massive destruction in other parts of the plaza, the mosque was untouched.

The video shows that all copies of the Holy Quran placed on the mosque’s racks were found intact and in their original positions. The prayer mats, carpets, and other items inside the mosque were also preserved.

Rescue officials stated that although extreme heat was felt inside and around the mosque, no damage was caused to the sacred place, which many have described as extraordinary amid the widespread destruction caused by the fire.
