Chairman FBR Amjad Zubair Tuwana Decides to Retire Early

Islamabad: Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Amjad Zubair Tuwana, has decided to retire before his scheduled retirement date. According to sources, Tuwana, who was set to retire on February 25 next year, has submitted a two-week notice to the government indicating his intention to step down from his position early.
In a formal letter addressed to the government, Tuwana has expressed his desire to vacate his office and retire ahead of his original retirement timeline.
