New Air Connectivity for Balochistan: AirSial Launches Regular Flights Between Quetta and Karachi

**Quetta:** Quetta International Airport, under the administration of the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA), has successfully launched regular AirSial flights connecting Quetta and Karachi, marking a significant improvement in air connectivity for Balochistan.

AirSial will operate three weekly flights on this route—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays—offering enhanced travel options for passengers using Quetta International Airport. The inaugural flight, AirSial 161, operated with an Airbus A320, landed at Quetta International Airport at 3:15 PM with 180 passengers on board. The return flight departed for Karachi at 4:32 PM, carrying 199 passengers.

A ceremonial inauguration was held at the airport, attended by the Chief Operating Officer/Airport Manager, Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the Airport Security Force, COO (ATC), Pakistan Airports Authority officials, AirSial representatives, flight crew, and other stakeholders.

The Airport Manager praised AirSial’s initiative on behalf of the senior management of PAA and encouraged the airline to consider expanding services from Quetta International Airport, particularly to Lahore and Islamabad. Quetta International Airport has substantial capacity to handle increased passenger traffic and is fully equipped to support further expansion of flight operations in the future.
