FIA Recovers Over PKR 8 Crore in High-Profile NCCI Bribery Case Involving YouTuber “Ducky Bhai” Family

Lahore – In a major breakthrough in the corruption case involving YouTuber “Ducky Bhai” and his family, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recovered PKR 1.12 crore from the main suspect, former NCCI Additional Director Sarfaraz Chaudhry, who allegedly demanded millions in bribes for easing the case and securing bail.
Meanwhile, FIA has recovered a total of PKR 4.25 crore from seven other accused, with investigations ongoing, including asset verification of the suspects and their families.
According to FIA’s Anti-Corruption Circle, over PKR 4 crore have been recovered so far from various NCCI Lahore officials during the ongoing probe into bribery allegations. Recoveries include:
* PKR 99.9 lakh from Deputy Director Zawar Ahmed
* PKR 50.15 lakh from Deputy Director Muhammad Usman
* PKR 90 lakh from Assistant Director Shoaib Riaz
* PKR 36 lakh from Assistant Director Mujtaba Zafar
* PKR 19.48 lakh from Sub-Inspector Yasir Ramzan
* PKR 7 lakh from Sub-Inspector Ali Raza
* PKR 10 lakh from private individual Salman Aziz
A five-member FIA investigation team, led by Assistant Director Syed Zain ul Abideen, is actively probing NCCI officers. Authorities have also sought details of the suspects and their families from FIA headquarters in Islamabad, while forensic analysis of mobile phones has been sent to the National Forensic Agency.
The case also includes allegations against NCCI Rawalpindi officials for collecting millions monthly from call centers. In this scandal, PKR 30 crore in bribes were reportedly paid, with only PKR 15 lakh recovered so far from Sub-Inspector Sarm Ali.
In total, 13 suspects are named in the case, including 10 NCCI officers, a Chinese national, and two Pakistani frontmen. One accused, Deputy Director Salman Awan of the Anti-Blasphemy Unit, has already secured bail.
Investigations continue, with multiple departments instructed to scrutinize bank accounts and assets of the accused.
