PTI Lawmakers Announce Privilege Motion Against Adiala Police

**Islamabad:** Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Members of the National Assembly, Dr. Amjad and Sahibzada Sibghatullah, have announced their decision to move a privilege motion against the Adiala Police over what they described as inappropriate conduct.

According to details, both lawmakers visited Adiala Jail on Saturday but were stopped by police officials and not allowed to enter the jail premises. Speaking to the media, Dr. Amjad said that due to the strict and unjust attitude of the police, they had decided to bring a privilege motion in parliament.

He added that if such treatment is meted out to elected representatives, the situation for ordinary citizens could be even more alarming. Dr. Amjad warned that such behavior by law enforcement could foster resentment and undermine public trust.

Sahibzada Sibghatullah also expressed regret over the incident, stating that despite reaching the gate of Adiala Jail, they were denied permission to meet anyone inside.

As a result of the refusal, both lawmakers returned without holding the meeting. PTI sources said the members would now pursue legal and parliamentary options to hold the police accountable and ensure that constitutional and legal responsibilities are upheld.
