TikToker Iman Fatima’s Hair-Cutting Case: Accused Flee After Bail Rejection

Rawalpindi: A local court in Rawalpindi has rejected the interim bail applications of two accused, Musmat Sana and Jabar Khan, in the high-profile case of TikToker Iman Fatima, whose hair was forcibly cut.

During the hearing, conducted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Ikram-ul-Haq Chaudhry, the defense requested that interim bail be sought from the High Court. Prosecutors argued that the accused had not appeared for investigation and that cutting the girl’s hair was a serious offense, not a minor crime eligible for bail.

The judge declared that hair-cutting is a grave incident and refused to grant interim bail, ordering the accused to appear before the police for further investigation. However, just minutes before the court’s decision, both accused fled the courtroom, leaving police officials powerless despite having handcuffs at the ready.

The case was registered on November 25 by Nasirabad police after a video of Iman Fatima’s hair being cut went viral.
