Archana Puran Singh Opens Up About Son Aryaman’s Battle With Depression, Gets Emotional

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Archana Puran Singh became emotional while recalling the most difficult phase of her son Aryaman Sethi’s life, revealing how he once locked himself in a room for nearly a month during his teenage years.

Speaking in Aryaman’s vlog, Archana shared: *“When you were in boarding school in London, you fell ill. It was a big shock for me. You broke your ankle, and I knew your dreams would shatter. Your heart was broken, and since that day, you endured so much. People only see you laughing, but they don’t know how much pain hides behind that smile.”*

Aryaman, passionate about football from childhood and even representing India in 2009, saw his dreams collapse after a severe ankle injury and surgery. According to Archana, the setback pushed him into depression and anxiety at just 13 years old, leaving him confined to his room for months.

“As a mother, I felt broken inside too, but I kept supporting you. I once feared you wouldn’t come out of that darkness. For a year, I held you with all my heart, and I thank God that you stood back up,” Archana said with teary eyes.

Today, Aryaman shares his journey on his YouTube channel *“Arry Vlogs”*, which has over 90,000 subscribers. He is also active in music, songwriting, fitness, and education—teaching underprivileged students for free.

During the conversation, Archana also mentioned Aryaman’s fiancée, actress Yogita Bihani, saying: *“Now you have someone who brings light into your life. That is a huge blessing.”*

Despite giving over 100 auditions without landing a film role, Aryaman says he has faced “reverse nepotism.” However, with the unwavering support of his family, he continues to move forward with resilience and hope.
