No Law in the World Allows Silencing a Human Being, Says PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja
*Rawalpindi (Daily Qudrat):* PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has called for public solidarity with the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan, emphasizing that it is not only the duty of assembly members to support them.
Speaking to the media near the factory checkpoint close to Adiala Jail, he criticized attempts to dictate what a person can or cannot discuss during a meeting. “No law in the world permits silencing a human being,” he said, adding that the clause restricting political discussions in jail rules was introduced during General Zia-ul-Haq’s era.
Raja further urged everyone who believes in democracy and the rule of law to come forward. He also expressed deep concern over the APS tragedy and rising terrorism, noting that promises made to the people of merged tribal districts have yet to be fulfilled.
