Balochistan’s Two-and-a-Half-Year Government Term Not in Province’s Interest, Says Ziaullah Langov

**Quetta:** Ziaullah Langov, central Secretary of Information of Balochistan Awami Party and former Interior Minister, has criticized the provincial government’s two-and-a-half-year term, stating that it is not serving the interests of Balochistan. He highlighted that the people of Kalat have been without proper representation in the assembly for the past one and a half years.

In an exclusive interview, Langov emphasized that progress can only be achieved through education, awareness, and positive struggle, not by weapons. He warned that frustration among youth could lead to societal harm and urged them to pursue development and constructive efforts instead.

Langov remarked that while some positive initiatives—such as bus services, health cards, scholarship programs, and district-level development projects—have been undertaken, overall security and governance remain inadequate. He stressed that the presence of a competent Interior Minister is essential to address the province’s law and order challenges promptly.

Referring to Balochistan’s long-standing issues over the past 25 years, including internal challenges and external interference, Langov called for all stakeholders, including political leaders and security agencies, to work together to ensure peace, stability, and development. He further urged youth to use education and knowledge as tools to strengthen Balochistan’s future rather than resorting to violence.

Langov concluded that sustainable progress in the province requires effective governance, active public representation, and a collective focus on law, order, and development priorities.
