PTI Leader and Lawyer Qazi Anwar Resigns from Party

**Peshawar:** Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and senior lawyer Qazi Anwar has announced his resignation from the party, citing serious concerns over its direction and internal conduct.

Speaking to the media, Qazi Anwar said that PTI is no longer adhering to the principles and manifesto on which it was founded. He alleged that the party’s current leadership subjected him to disrespect, causing him significant mental distress. “I have suffered severe psychological anguish within the party,” he stated.

It is worth recalling that a few days earlier, PTI’s Tehsil President of Samahni in Azad Kashmir had also announced his decision to quit the party in response to statements made by PTI leaders against state institutions. He had emphasized that state institutions are the guardians of the country’s borders and declared that he could not remain part of any party that speaks against them.
