PkMAP Condemns Harassment of Political Workers Under Fourth Schedule, Terms Khanuzai Listing of 35 Individuals Illegal

Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — The **Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP)** has strongly condemned the inclusion of national, political, and democratic workers in the **Fourth Schedule** under anti-terrorism laws, calling it a blatant violation of constitutional, democratic, and human rights.
In a provincial press release, the party stated that placing political activists on the Fourth Schedule is an attempt to **intimidate genuine leaders**, weaken their political struggle, and force the public to abandon their commitment to defending their homeland and resources.
PkMAP reiterated that it firmly stands for **constitutional supremacy, democratic governance, and a genuine federation based on equality among all nations**, but claimed that powerful quarters, fearful of the party’s democratic struggle, are filing **baseless cases** against its workers.
According to the statement, last year the names of senior leaders **Abdul Aleem Pehlwan, Kareem Khan Nazim, and Sher Ali Khan** from Chaman were added to the Fourth Schedule, and now **35 individuals in Khanuzai** have also been listed — a move the party describes as **illegal and unjustified**.
PkMAP further alleged that the *Form-47 government* is continuing to place political, social, and community leaders, as well as lawyers and ordinary citizens, on the Fourth Schedule across the province.
The party demanded that the government **immediately end this practice** and remove the names of all political, national, and democratic workers from the Fourth Schedule without delay.
