Quetta (Daily Qudrat) — **Tehreek Tahaffuz-e-Aain Pakistan (TTAP)** has decided to **contest the Quetta local body elections jointly** with its member parties. The decision was made during a meeting chaired by **Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal** at the **PNAP central secretariat**, where the upcoming elections were discussed in detail.
The parties agreed to form **town-wise committees** for **Taktu, Chiltan, Zarghun, and Saryab**, with **five members from each party**, and a **four-member technical committee** was also established. Names of the committees will be announced later.
The meeting was attended by senior leaders from **PTI, PNAP, Balochistan National Party, and Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen**, including **Sardar Zain-ul-Abideen Khalji, Abdul Bari Barich, Khurshid Advocate, Haji Baz Muhammad, Mir Ali Agha, Abdul Qahar Khan Wadan, Majeed Khan Achakzai, Kabir Afghan, Ghulam Nabi Mari, Musa Baloch, and Wahid Baloch**.
In a statement, TTAP criticized the provincial government for **delaying local body elections for 13 years**, pointing out the **illegal sale and misuse of municipal properties**, ongoing corruption, nepotism, and failure to provide basic services such as electricity, gas, clean water, education, and healthcare. The statement highlighted **extreme inflation, unemployment, and the collapse of governance** in the province, asserting that the public is increasingly frustrated.
TTAP warned that the **people of Quetta will use their votes on December 28, 2025**, to reject the corrupt establishment. The statement also accused government ministers of **actively participating in elections by announcing schemes and benefits**, and criticized the Election Commission for failing to prevent such practices. TTAP emphasized that it **reserves the right to democratic protest** with the support of Quetta residents and the broader public in the province.
