Rain Alert Issued for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Rain and Snowfall Expected Today and Tomorrow
Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has issued an alert warning of expected rainfall across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today and tomorrow. All district administrations have been instructed to take precautionary measures in advance.
According to the PDMA, upper districts may experience rain accompanied by thunderstorms and snowfall, while Peshawar as well as southern and central districts are also likely to receive rainfall.
The advisory states that weak structures, including houses and utility poles, may suffer damage due to the weather conditions. District authorities have been directed to ensure proper drainage and implement safety measures.
The PDMA has further advised farmers to relocate crops and livestock to safer areas, and urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel during the expected spell of bad weather.
