KP CM Suhail Afridi Orders Inquiry into NA-18 Haripur By-Elections, Gives Party Authority to Conduct Probe

Peshawar — Special Assistant for Information **Shafee Jan** announced that **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi** has decided to initiate an inquiry into the **NA-18 Haripur by-elections**, granting the party authority to carry out the investigation.

Shafee Jan stated that the inquiry will cover all officials, from Class Four employees to the Deputy Commissioner. Any officer found involved in malpractice will face strict disciplinary action. He expressed confidence that employees under the provincial government were not involved, but emphasized that the inquiry aims to ensure **transparency**.

He added that a reference regarding alleged election irregularities will also be sent to the **Election Commission**, and statements along with affidavits from presiding officers are being recorded as part of the investigation.
