Anti-Pakistan Chants, Threats to Islamabad Raise Concerns at Afghan Police Parade

Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed concern after reports emerged of **anti-Pakistan songs and incendiary threats** during a **passing-out parade at the Afghan Police Academy**, sparking regional unease.

According to reports, the chants included provocative lines urging **setting fire to Islamabad** and **planting flags in Lahore**, using highly **inflammatory language** directed against Pakistan. The incident has drawn attention within diplomatic circles and raised security concerns.


Sources say the episode follows threats made by Afghan Taliban **Minister Noorullah Nuri on November 7**, in which he warned of attacks on **Sindh and Punjab**.

Additionally, Taliban-linked digital media accounts associated with Afghan intelligence have repeatedly issued **suicide attack threats against Islamabad**, heightening concerns among Pakistani security agencies.


Security analysts warn that such incidents could **increase pressure on Pakistan-Afghanistan relations** and **heighten terrorism risks** in the region.
