Corruption, Not Insurgency, Is Balochistan’s Real Enemy, Says Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has declared corruption as the province’s “real enemy,” stressing that true progress and prosperity can only be achieved by eradicating it. He made these remarks during a meeting with members of the National Youth Council at the Chief Minister’s House.
The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, youth delegates, and officials from the Youth Department.
CM Bugti emphasized that the biggest challenge facing Balochistan is not insurgency but corruption. He said practical steps are being taken to promote meritocracy in the province, adding that every young person is a valuable asset to the state.
He urged youth to promote the state’s true narrative and foster positive thinking. “Hostile elements dream of breaking the state through violence,” he said, adding that the youth should counter such negativity and propaganda with logic and truth.
At the end of the meeting, the Chief Minister distributed laptops among members of the National Youth Council.
