Nation’s Progress Depends on Educated and Skilled Youth: Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta)** – Parliamentary Secretary for Social Welfare **Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai** has said that the progress and prosperity of the nation, province, and region depend on the youth, emphasizing that **empowering them through education, skill development, and training is the need of the hour**. He stressed that **parents, teachers, scholars, and community leaders** must play an active role in nurturing the younger generation’s potential, focusing not only on quality education but also on character building to secure a bright future for them.

Speaking at his residence to **youth representatives, political figures, and tribal elders**, Haji Wali Muhammad Noorzai said that following the **people-centric vision of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti**, the **Department of Social Welfare** has launched significant initiatives to provide respectable livelihood opportunities for the youth.

He informed that **over 800 male and female students** are being provided **10-month modern IT training** in collaboration with the **Saylani Welfare Trust**. The initiative aims to **equip youth with contemporary IT skills**, enabling them to **earn online from home**. The department has already provided necessary infrastructure and facilities to ensure smooth implementation of the project.

The Parliamentary Secretary further revealed that, under his special interest, a **separate batch of 50 differently-abled students** has also been launched. He added that it is the government’s responsibility to **create employment opportunities, offer relevant training, and extend incentives** to empower the youth of Balochistan.

“Such welfare-oriented initiatives,” he said, “will significantly contribute to making the province’s youth self-reliant, skilled, and capable of leading Balochistan toward a prosperous and dignified future.”
