Tandoor Owners in Lahore Raise Naan and Khameeri Roti Prices by Rs5

Lahore: Tandoor owners in *Lahore* have increased the price of **naan and khameeri roti** by **Rs5**, setting the new price at **Rs30 per piece**.

President of the **Mutahida Naan Roti Association**, **Aftab Aslam Gul**, said the price hike was due to a significant increase in the cost of fine flour.

According to Gul, the price of a **bag of fine flour** has risen from **Rs4,500 to Rs5,000**, prompting the price adjustment. He added that the **Punjab government has denied any involvement** in the price hike, leading tandoor owners to make the decision independently.

He clarified that the **price of plain roti remains unchanged at Rs14**, and assured that if fine flour prices return to their previous level, the prices of **naan and khameeri roti** will also be reduced accordingly.
