Imran Khan’s Release “200% Certain” if Cases Proceed on Merit: Asad Qaiser

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader **Asad Qaiser** has claimed that there is a “200 percent chance” of **Imran Khan’s release**, stating that if the cases against him are decided on merit, the former prime minister “cannot remain in jail for even a single additional day.”

Speaking on **Samaa TV**, Qaiser said that Imran Khan has not been convicted in any case so far, and under normal legal practice, bail is granted in ongoing trials. “In history, there has never been a case where a bail hearing has been prolonged for this long,” he remarked.

He further added that all other cases involving Imran Khan have already resulted in bail, emphasizing that if there is no **political victimization or manipulation of the judiciary**, then granting bail would be Khan’s legal right.

Discussing the political landscape in **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, Asad Qaiser praised Chief Minister **Sohail Afridi**, saying he is effectively mobilizing the public. “Two to three major rallies are coming up, and people will see how the party is reorganizing. PTI has found new life under Sohail Afridi’s energetic and educated leadership, which has reignited the spirit of struggle among the people of the province,” he said.

Qaiser reiterated, “Imran Khan’s release is 200 percent certain. If the courts act on merit, he will not spend even one more day behind bars.”
