Court Dismisses KP Anti-Corruption Director’s Pre-Arrest Bail in Judge Humayun Dilawar Propaganda Case
Written Verdict Says Applicant Was Summoned Three Times via WhatsApp But Failed to Appear

Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has issued a written verdict dismissing the pre-arrest bail plea of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Anti-Corruption Director, Siddique Anjum, in the case related to an alleged social media propaganda campaign against Judge Humayun Dilawar.
The written order, issued by Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka, stated that Siddique Anjum had filed a pre-arrest bail application on **November 2, 2024**, and later moved a writ petition in the **Islamabad High Court (IHC)** seeking to halt proceedings in the trial court until the petition was decided.
The IHC dismissed the petition on **September 19, 2025**, after which the trial court **restored the bail application on October 3, 2025.** According to the court, the applicant was summoned **three times via his WhatsApp number** but failed to appear on all occasions.
The verdict noted that the accused “deliberately avoided appearing before the court,” leading the judge to dismiss the pre-arrest bail plea for **non-prosecution.**
The case pertains to an alleged online propaganda campaign targeting Judge Humayun Dilawar, who gained national attention during several high-profile cases.
