Israeli Attack on Qatar Violates International Law, Pakistan Will Respond Strongly to Any Aggression: Foreign Office

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Office has strongly condemned the **Israeli attack on Qatar**, calling it a clear **violation of international law**, and expressed full solidarity with the brotherly nation of Qatar.
In a press briefing, the **Foreign Office spokesperson** stated that Pakistan continues to denounce Israeli atrocities in Gaza and supports a resolution to the **Palestinian conflict in accordance with United Nations resolutions**.
The spokesperson also highlighted that **Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif made an emergency visit to Qatar** in response to the Israeli aggression. “The Pakistani nation stands firmly with Qatar,” the spokesperson said, adding that the **emergency meeting** was convened at the joint request of **Pakistan and Somalia** to address the situation.
“Pakistan’s position on the Israeli attack on Qatar is clear,” the spokesperson emphasized. “We condemn the attack and express solidarity with Qatar. Pakistan is a **responsible state with full defensive capabilities**, and any misadventure will be met with a **strong and decisive response**.”
Additionally, the spokesperson noted that the **Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan** recently visited Pakistan, where both countries discussed a range of **bilateral matters**.
On the issue of immigration, the spokesperson clarified that **each country makes its own policies** regarding undocumented individuals and confirmed that **the UK has not placed Pakistan on any such list**. The spokesperson further noted that Pakistan and the UK continue to maintain **multiple bilateral agreements** across various sectors.
