Lashkari Raisani, Asad Qaiser Urge Political Unity to Resolve National Crises

Islamabad:Senior politician and former senator **Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani** and **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader and former National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser** have called on political parties to **unite in order to steer the country out of its ongoing crises**. They emphasized that decisions based on force are **deepening national instability**.

The remarks came after a **meeting between Raisani and Qaiser in Islamabad**, where both leaders held discussions on **the current political climate**, the **deteriorating law and order situation** in **Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**, and concerns over **calls for division of provinces**.

Speaking to the media after the meeting, **Lashkari Raisani** criticized the reliance on power-based governance, saying such decisions are leading the country towards **dangerous consequences**. He added, *“These policies are presenting a frightening scenario for our national homeland.”*

Raisani urged the PTI, which he acknowledged as **one of the largest political forces in Pakistan**, to take responsibility and **oppose such dangerous political experiments** to prevent the emergence of **further national crises**.

Responding to Raisani’s remarks, **Asad Qaiser** welcomed his visit and agreed that the country is indeed facing a **disturbing situation**. He stressed the need for **all political parties to unite** and work together for the **restoration and continuation of a transparent parliamentary system**.

Both leaders highlighted that **national stability and democratic continuity** depend on **collective political wisdom and inclusive dialogue**, not on **unilateral or authoritarian decisions**.
