Imran Khan Clarifies: “My Sons Will Not Come to Pakistan for Protests”

Rawalpindi: Former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan has denied reports suggesting that his sons will come to Pakistan to participate in protests for his release. Speaking during a court hearing at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan stated clearly that his sons will not join any protest movement in Pakistan.
Sources reported that during court proceedings, Khan was asked whether his sons, who were previously reported to have returned from the U.S., would take part in the protest planned for August 5. Khan responded briefly, saying, “No, they will not come for the protest.”
Earlier, there had been speculation in media circles and comments from PTI local leadership — including Khan’s sister Aleema Khan — suggesting that Kasim and Sulaiman (Imran’s sons) would join the movement for their father’s release. However, Imran Khan has now personally put an end to those rumors.
It was further noted that while his sons will not return for political protests, if they choose to visit their father for personal reasons, the court would allow them to meet him.
This statement marks a significant clarification amid growing anticipation over PTI’s planned nationwide movement and questions over international support for Imran Khan’s legal and political struggles.
