Maryam Nawaz Warns Against Criticism of Punjab, Launches Electric Buses in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has declared that while she remains open to personal criticism, she will not tolerate negative remarks against Punjab or its development.
Speaking at the launch ceremony of electric buses in Faisalabad, the CM said, *“If you criticize me, I will stay silent. But if you speak against Punjab, its rights, or its progress, Maryam Nawaz will not spare you.”*
She emphasized that criticism about her pictures appearing everywhere was misplaced. *“When you work, your picture will naturally appear,”* she remarked, stressing her commitment to serving the province.
Maryam Nawaz praised senior PML-N leaders for standing steadfastly with her father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, during difficult times, recalling Rana Sanaullah’s unwavering loyalty.
Highlighting her responsibilities, she said, *“The people of Punjab have entrusted me with their mandate. If I must shed the last drop of my blood for their rights, it will still not be enough.”*
The CM congratulated the people of Faisalabad on receiving the province’s first public transport service. She announced the induction of 150 electric buses, including 90 for Faisalabad, 30 for Jhang, and 15 each for Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh.
