Justice Is a Collective Responsibility, Not Solely of One Institution: Chief Justice Yahya Afridi

Islamabad – Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, in his message on World Day of International Justice, emphasized that justice is not the responsibility of a single individual or institution, but a collective duty of humanity.
Reaffirming commitment to justice, equality, and the rule of law, Chief Justice Afridi said, “Justice knows no borders; it is the foundation of peace and human rights.” He highlighted that the solution to the world’s pressing problems lies in the rule of law and the fair dispensation of justice.
He pointed out that challenges such as terrorism, human trafficking, and environmental crises can only be addressed through strong judicial systems. “The judiciary of Pakistan stands in solidarity with global efforts to uphold international justice,” he stated.
Chief Justice Afridi also underscored the importance of judicial reforms and giving a voice to the marginalized segments of society, noting that this remains a top priority for the country’s judicial system.
