FIA Arrests Two Officials for Issuing Illegal E-Visas to Afghan Nationals

Two officials of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) have been arrested for their involvement in issuing illegal e-visas to Afghan nationals. According to an FIA spokesperson, the officials were apprehended after their involvement in the illicit issuance of electronic visas to Afghan citizens was confirmed.

The arrested officials were stationed at the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Islamabad. The spokesperson added that the arrest comes as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal e-visa racket.

So far, six individuals have been arrested in connection with the issuance of illegal e-visas to Afghan nationals. The FIA is continuing its investigation, and more arrests are expected as the agency seeks to dismantle the network facilitating these unlawful activities.
