Record Number of Earthquakes Hit Karachi, 57 Tremors Recorded This Month

Karachi:Chief Meteorologist Amir Haider Laghari has reported that the city of Karachi has experienced a total of 57 earthquakes since the beginning of June this year. According to Laghari, the tremors are being caused by the activity along the Landhi Fault Line, which has been showing increased seismic activity.

Laghari further stated that the duration and frequency of these tremors remain unpredictable, and it is not possible to forecast when they will subside. Last night, at around 3 AM, residents of Karachi felt another round of tremors, adding to the growing concern among the city’s population.

As the tremors continue, authorities are urging the public to stay alert and be prepared for any further seismic events. The situation has raised alarms about the safety measures in place for citizens living in vulnerable areas.
