Resolution Submitted in Punjab Assembly to Praise CM Maryam Nawaz for People-Friendly, Tax-Free Budget

Lahore: A resolution has been submitted in the Punjab Assembly to commend Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for presenting a tax-free and people-friendly provincial budget.
The resolution was tabled by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Hina Parvez Butt. It acknowledges the Punjab Assembly’s appreciation for Maryam Nawaz’s efforts in presenting a budget that imposes no new taxes and focuses on public welfare.
The resolution also congratulates Punjab Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman for his role in formulating the budget. It highlights that the Chief Minister allocated record funds for health, education, agriculture, and development sectors.
Speaking on the resolution, Hina Parvez Butt stated that substantial funds have been allocated for students and women, reflecting that youth and gender empowerment are top priorities for the CM.
She emphasized that Punjab’s tax-free budget reflects the aspirations of the public, adding that the Assembly reaffirms its commitment to public service and easing the lives of ordinary citizens through continued support and effective policymaking.
