President Meets Balochistan Chief Minister and Provincial Ministers, Discusses Development Initiatives and Security

Islamabad, Quetta:President of the country, Asif Ali Zardari, held a meeting with Balochistan’s Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti and Provincial Ministers, including PPP’s provincial ministers, at the Presidential Palace yesterday. Among those present were Provincial Ministers Haji Ali Madad Jattak, Zahoor Ahmed Buledi, Sardar Faisal Jamal, Sardar Sarfraz Dumki, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, and Baba Ghulam Rasool Imrani. The Chief Minister of Balochistan briefed the President on the overall situation in the province.

Chief Minister and provincial ministers informed the President about the performance of their departments, including peace and security measures in the province. The Chief Minister of Balochistan briefed the President on developmental projects aimed at public welfare in the province. The President emphasized expedited completion of projects for Balochistan’s development and prosperity.

“The federal government’s cooperation is essential for meeting the province’s water needs, promoting agriculture, and ensuring food security. The President appreciated the provincial government’s effective measures for the development and well-being of Balochistan,” the report added.
