Grenade Attack on Police in Quetta Condemned; Perpetrators Will Be Brought to Justice: Balochistan Govt Spokesman
Quetta:A hand grenade attack targeting police personnel near the Eastern Bypass’s Bakra Mandi area in Quetta has been strongly condemned by the Balochistan government. Three people, including SHO of Manzoor Shaheed Police Station, were injured in the incident.
Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind denounced the attack, stating that “enemies of peace are trying to destabilize the environment in Balochistan.” He confirmed that investigations into the incident are underway and that authorities are reviewing all possible aspects of the attack.
“The elements involved in this attack will be brought to justice,” Rind said. “The sacrifices of the people and security forces in Balochistan will not go in vain.”
Security has been tightened in the area, and a search operation has been launched to apprehend those responsible for the assault. The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital where they are receiving medical treatment.
