National Party Holds Corner Meeting in Quetta to Prepare for Public Gathering Honoring Late Leader Mohiuddin Sasoli

QUETTA:A corner meeting of the National Party for PB-43 constituency (Killi Shabo, Alamo area) was held at the residence of Haji Abdul Samad Rind to review preparations for a major public gathering scheduled on **May 25** in honor of the party’s late leader and senior lawyer, **Advocate Mohiuddin Sasoli**, on his first death anniversary.

The meeting was attended by a large number of party leaders and members, including Provincial President **Aslam Baloch**, Central Vice President **Dr. Ishaq Baloch**, Provincial General Secretary **Changez Hayee Baloch**, Quetta District President and Central Committee member **Haji Atta Muhammad Bangulzai**, **Ali Ahmed Lango**, **Chairman Mansoor Baloch**, **Madam Fareeda Baloch**, **Haji Nasrullah**, **Riaz Zehri**, **Mama Saifullah**, **Akhtar Lango**, **Sardar Gul Hassan Lango**, and **Umar Baloch**. Member National Assembly and senior National Party leader **Phullin Baloch** also participated as a special guest.

Speakers at the meeting reaffirmed that Advocate Sasoli was a pivotal figure within the party who consistently supported its mission and values. His untimely death, they said, has deprived the party of a dedicated leader and an accomplished legal mind.

Discussing the current situation in Balochistan, the speakers expressed grave concerns over what they described as the imposition of a “non-representative government” in the province. They blamed this imposed rule for widespread **insecurity, unrest, unemployment, political instability, and confusion** in the region. They strongly asserted that unless the mandate of Balochistan’s true political leadership is acknowledged, the province will continue to suffer from uncertainty and turmoil.

It was unanimously decided during the meeting that people from Killi Shabo, Alamo, and surrounding areas will participate in the upcoming **May 25 public gathering** in the form of a **massive procession**, making it a powerful demonstration of solidarity and remembrance.
