Pakistani Officer Anum Khan Wins Global Award for Excellence in Criminal Investigation at World Police Summit 2025
Dubai:Anum Khan, a police officer from Sargodha, Punjab, has brought international pride to Pakistan by winning the prestigious “Excellence in Criminal Investigation” award at the World Police Summit Awards 2025, held in Dubai.
Anum Khan, who serves as an investigative officer in Sargodha, was recognized for her outstanding investigative skills and professional leadership. The award was presented at a grand ceremony hosted by the Dubai Police, attended by police chiefs and security experts from over 90 countries.
Her selection came after a competitive evaluation of more than 900 investigation reports submitted from around the globe. According to the summit organizers, her work stood out due to her precision, dedication, and success in high-profile murder cases.
Anum Khan was honored for successfully solving two major murder cases in Punjab:
1. **Case of 12-Year-Old Ayesha Bibi** – A brutal murder case of a domestic worker, which Anum led to resolution by apprehending the culprits within just 72 hours.
2. **Case of Young Mohsin’s Murder** – In another swift operation, Anum’s leadership led to the arrest of the suspects within 24 hours.
These achievements not only earned her national recognition but also highlighted the rising professional standards within the Punjab Police. She has already received several commendations and awards at the provincial level.
Speaking after receiving the award in Dubai, Anum Khan said,
