Two Fishermen Die in Tragic Sea Accidents Near Ormara, Three Rescued

Ormara– Two fishermen lost their lives in separate tragic accidents in the sea near Ormara, while three others were rescued. The first incident occurred late Friday night into Saturday at the Zindi Rake area on the Dimi Zar coast, where a fishing boat capsized. Out of the four fishermen aboard, three were safely rescued by local fishermen, but Ayaz, son of Nakoda Ashraf, drowned and died. Ayaz, who hailed from Pasni, had been fishing in Ormara as part of his livelihood.
After Ayaz went missing following the drowning, Pakistan Navy rescue teams immediately launched a search. Local fishermen also contributed significantly to the rescue efforts. Ayaz’s body was later recovered from the sea by local fisherman Nakoda Babi.
The second incident took place at the Padi Zar coast near Ormara, where a local fisherman named Gangzar drowned after his small thermacol boat capsized. He was fishing early in the morning when the accident occurred. His body was found later at the Padi Zar shore. Gangzar was a resident of the Pangat neighborhood in Ormara.
