Asif Ali Zardari Criticizes Government Functioning, Vows Action
LAHORE: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has criticized the current government’s performance, stating that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) is failing to effectively govern. “We know how to form and run a government, as well as burden the people,” he asserted.
According to details, a meeting under the presidency of Asif Ali Zardari was held in Lahore, where party leaders expressed concerns over the inefficiencies affecting party workers. They complained to the President that the Punjab and federal governments are not cooperating and are denying them their rights. Ticket holders also raised issues about unresolved electoral constituencies.
Addressing these concerns, Asif Ali Zardari assured party leaders of resolving their issues and stated, “I am now entering the field myself, whether in Islamabad or Lahore, I will get the work done. There is no political party that can match the Pakistan People’s Party. Criticism against my party is a reward.”
Furthermore, Asif Zardari directed the leadership of PPP Punjab to convene and resolve the issues together. He highlighted the current economic challenges faced by the public due to loans from the IMF, criticizing the government for its inability to effectively manage the country. “We know how to both form and burden a government; we will not leave our people alone,” he affirmed.
He urged PPP workers to prepare themselves for upcoming tasks, emphasizing the need to involve youth in party organization. Asif Ali Zardari concluded by stating that it is time to step out of the drawing room politics and take decisive action.
