Weather Shift Expected as Rain Forecast for Upper Regions

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast a change in weather patterns, predicting rainfall in upper parts of the country while most regions will continue to experience hot and dry conditions.
According to the report, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir are likely to receive light rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms at isolated places.
In Islamabad and surrounding areas, the weather is expected to remain hot and dry, with partly cloudy conditions likely in the afternoon.
Most districts of Punjab will also face hot and dry weather, with southern regions expected to experience intense heat. Similarly, Sindh and Balochistan are likely to remain extremely hot and dry, although dusty winds may blow in central and southern parts of Sindh during the afternoon.
The Meteorological Department reported that temperatures in some areas have reached as high as 46°C, with Turbat and Shaheed Benazirabad among the hottest locations in the country.
