Private Hajj Pilgrims Face Risk of Missing Hajj Due to Accommodation Issues in Mina and Arafat, Warns Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi

Islamabad:The **Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi**, has raised serious concerns regarding the accommodation issues of **private Hajj pilgrims** in **Mina** and **Arafat**, stating that **70,000 to 75,000 private pilgrims** may miss the Hajj pilgrimage this year due to the **lack of allocated spaces**.

In a recent statement, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi highlighted that the **89,000 private Hajj pilgrims** are facing difficulties in securing accommodation in **Mina** and **Arafat**. He mentioned that this issue arose due to a **disagreement** between the **Private Hajj Organizations** and the **Ministry of Religious Affairs**, which has caused delays in the allocation of spaces for the pilgrims.

Ashrafi further explained that the **deadline provided by the Saudi government** for resolving the issue has already expired. In response, the **Federal Minister for Religious Affairs** has written a letter to the **Saudi authorities** to urgently resolve the matter. He warned that if the issue is not resolved soon, thousands of private pilgrims could be deprived of performing the **Hajj** this year.

This development has raised concerns among Hajj operators and pilgrims alike, with the authorities working to ensure that all logistical hurdles are cleared before the pilgrimage season begins.
