Jaffar Express Carriages Arrive in Quetta After 8 Days Following Terrorist Attack in Bolan

Balochistan:The carriages of Jaffar Express, which was targeted by terrorists in Bolan, have been transported to Quetta after an 8-day delay.

According to railway officials, the carriages bear bullet marks, and most of the windows are shattered. Authorities stated that the carriages will be repaired before being cleared for travel.

It is important to note that on March 11, a terrorist attack took place on Jaffar Express in Bolan, leading to a suspension of the train service. The train, en route from Quetta to Peshawar, was hijacked by Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) militants near Sibi, who took passengers, including women and children, hostage.

In a retaliatory action by Pakistani forces, all 33 militants were killed. However, the attack resulted in the martyrdom of 25 people, including 4 security personnel, due to the terrorists’ gunfire.
