Establishment of Counter-Terrorism Wing in Balochistan Levies Force Announced

Quetta:Following the special directives of **Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sardar Raouf Baloch** and **Balochistan Chief Secretary**, the **Director General of Balochistan Levies Force**, **Abdul Ghaffar Magsi**, has announced the establishment of a **Counter-Terrorism Wing** within the force.

This important step aims to enhance the effectiveness of the ongoing fight against terrorism and to further improve the operational capabilities of the **Balochistan Levies Force**. The decision to set up this wing was made on the instructions of **Chief Minister Sardar Raouf Baloch** and **Chief Secretary Balochistan**, who emphasized the need to strengthen the security forces and improve the stability of the province’s security situation.

**Abdul Ghaffar Magsi** stated that the newly formed **Counter-Terrorism Wing** will primarily focus on enhancing cooperation between the **Balochistan Levies Force**, other law enforcement agencies, and military forces, particularly in counter-terrorism operations. This will ensure better coordination and strengthen the security framework across the province.

He further explained that the establishment of the **Counter-Terrorism Wing** will significantly enhance the operational strength of the **Balochistan Levies Force**, enabling it to more effectively combat terrorism and dismantle terrorist networks. The new wing will also play a key role in fostering better inter-agency collaboration, boosting the overall efficiency and success of security operations.
