Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan Leader Discusses Poverty, Terrorism, and the Welfare of Orphans on World Orphan Day

Quetta:Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan**’s Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA), **Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch**, expressed deep concern over the increasing terrorism and traffic accidents in the province, both of which have led to a rise in the number of orphans. He stated that the violence and accidents have deprived many children of their parents, and emphasized the importance of supporting and raising these orphaned children. He praised **Alkhidmat Foundation**, **HRDI**, **BRSP**, and **PPAF** for their collaborative efforts in organizing a successful program for **World Orphan Day**.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch highlighted the significance of providing care and support to orphans, stating that those who take on the responsibility of orphans are among the most beloved creations of Allah. He reiterated that **Alkhidmat Foundation’s** services are recognized both nationally and internationally. He urged the government to support these initiatives and ensure that help reaches those in need with honesty and efficiency.
He also pointed out the widespread poverty and unemployment in Balochistan, suggesting that resources should be used honestly to uplift the local population. He emphasized that collaboration between the government, security forces, and philanthropists could significantly reduce poverty and unemployment in the region.
During his speech at the joint Iftar dinner organized by **Alkhidmat Foundation**, **HRDI**, **BRSP**, and **PPAF**, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch noted the importance of providing clean drinking water, gas, and electricity to the remote areas of Balochistan. He also called for active reforms in the educational and healthcare sectors to improve the living conditions of the people.
He criticized the government’s failure to provide Ramadan packages for the public and appealed to philanthropists and the business community to assist the underprivileged, orphans, and widows. He also expressed solidarity with the people of Gaza and Palestine, urging Muslim rulers to take stronger action to end the suffering of Palestinians.
Furthermore, he encouraged the people of Balochistan to support **Alkhidmat Foundation**’s projects, especially in the areas of poverty alleviation, orphan care, and support for the destitute. He appealed to philanthropists, the business community, and the general public to contribute generously to these noble causes.
