Governor Balochistan Announces End of Unscheduled Load-Shedding in Zhob District
Quetta:In a significant development, **Governor of Balochistan, Jamal Khan Mandokhail**, announced the successful completion of a long-awaited promise to end **unscheduled load-shedding** permanently in the **Zhob District**. This achievement was made possible through the installation of a new **20/26 MVA power transformer** in Zhob, a first for the city, by **WAPDA** officials.
The end of unscheduled load-shedding and the assurance of consistent voltage supply has brought immense relief to the residents of Zhob. The news was received with widespread celebration, as the district had long struggled with electricity issues, severely affecting the daily lives of the people.
The Governor made this announcement during a meeting with **WAPDA’s CEO Shafqat Ali** and **Chief Engineer Technical, Yusuf Shah Khan**, where he expressed his appreciation for the efforts made to resolve the energy crisis in Zhob. He stated, “The installation of this transformer has fulfilled the longstanding demand of the people of Zhob. I commend the efforts of WAPDA’s team, especially CEO Shafqat Ali and his technical team, for their dedication and hard work.”
Governor Mandokhail also thanked the people of Zhob for their patience and support throughout this process and assured that the provincial government would continue working to improve the living standards of the people, particularly by addressing basic utilities like electricity.
