ANP President Accuses Government of Deceiving Maulana Fazlur Rehman Over Madrassa Registration Bill
Islamabad:The President of the Awami National Party (ANP), Senator Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, has accused the government of deceiving Maulana Fazlur Rehman over the Madrassa Registration Bill. He claimed that Maulana Fazl has been subjected to significant injustice and was misled regarding the bill.
Speaking at a press conference, Ameer Haider Khan Hoti expressed that there is no difference between the current government and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership. “Imran Khan also made promises and then betrayed people. Now, who can trust this government?” he said, adding that the situation with the Madrassa Registration Bill was a clear example of government betrayal.
When asked if President Asif Ali Zardari had deceived Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Hoti responded that it was the entire system that was at fault, not just President Zardari, who was merely sitting in power.
