Court Issues Non-Bailable Arrest Warrants for Rana Sanaullah, Orders His Arrest and Presentation in Court

Gujranwala: The judicial magistrate has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Prime Minister’s political advisor, Rana Sanaullah, and ordered his arrest and presentation in court. The arrest warrants were issued in connection with a case registered at the Satellite Town Police Station.
In this case, which already saw former minister Khurram Dastgir, City President Salman Khalid, and MPA Imran Khalid Butt acquitted, the court dismissed a report submitted by the police under section 173, which had declared Rana Sanaullah innocent. The report was rejected by the court, citing delays in the submission of the charge sheet by the police.
The case involves allegations that Rana Sanaullah removed a container and deliberately ran a vehicle over police officers. The charges were filed by the police themselves. Despite the police report, which suggested his innocence, the court has ordered local police to arrest Rana Sanaullah and present him in court on December 12.
