Leaders of Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party and Hazara Democratic Party Discuss Political Issues and Regional Security

Quetta:A delegation from the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party, led by Chairman Khushal Khan Kakar, met with Hazara Democratic Party Chairman Abdul Khaliq Hazara and Vice Chairman Raza Hussain Hazara at their central office on Alamdar Road. The meeting focused on discussing the current political situation, the challenges faced by the people of the province, and the rising lawlessness and insecurity in the region.

The leaders expressed deep concern over extremism, terrorism, abductions, land grabbing, and the general deterioration of security, which they attributed to the policies of “fake governments” formed through rigged elections. They criticized these so-called governments, claiming they do not represent the people and have been imposed through force, rigging, and corruption. They called for the accountability of these illegitimate representatives, who, they said, are incapable of solving public problems or addressing the growing issues of violence and lawlessness.

The delegation also condemned the recent killings and violence in Kurram District, calling for urgent action from the federal and provincial governments, as well as security forces, to restore peace and prevent sectarian violence. The leaders emphasized the need for a permanent peace and brotherhood environment in Kurram, and urged authorities to take swift action to protect innocent lives.

The rising incidents of lawlessness, terrorism, abductions for ransom, and land grabbing in Quetta and surrounding areas were also discussed, with particular reference to the abduction of innocent student Musawar Kakr. The leaders called the failure of the government and security forces to secure his safe release a clear sign of their incompetence.

The meeting also highlighted the need to foster brotherhood among various ethnic groups in Quetta and the province. They agreed to work towards enhancing coordination between democratic forces to counter the anti-people policies of the “fake” governments. Discussions also centered on the upcoming elections for National Assembly seat NA-262 and Provincial Assembly seat PB-45, with the leaders reaffirming their commitment to a joint struggle for the resolution of key issues.

The delegation from Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party included senior secretary Syed Qadir Agha Advocate, central secretary of finance Yousaf Khan Kakr, provincial president Nasrullah Khan Zaire, provincial secretary Faqir Khushal Kasi, and Mahmood Ali Kakr. Hazara Democratic Party was represented by central information secretary and former MPA Qadir Nial, Abdul Ali Hazara, Advocate Mujtaba Zahid, Ghulam Ali Hazara, Dawood Chengizi, and other members of the central council.
