Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Criticizes KP Government for Engaging in Extremist Politics Instead of Serving the Public

Islamabad:Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman **Bilawal Bhutto Zardari** has strongly criticized the **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government** for prioritizing extremist politics over the welfare of its people. He stated that the residents of KP are bearing the brunt of the provincial government’s extremist approach.

Bilawal highlighted that although the KP government was invited to attend the **All Parties Conference (APC)**, it chose to reject the invitation. He called it unfortunate that the provincial government failed to fulfill its duty in this regard.

While appreciating the efforts of **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi** to bring all political parties together on a single platform, Bilawal reiterated his concerns about the government’s lack of initiative and commitment to serving the people of KP.

Just two days ago, the **All Parties Conference (APC)** was held in **Peshawar**, hosted by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, with representatives from several political parties, including **Muslim League-N**, **PPP**, **Awami National Party (ANP)**, and **Qoumi Watan Party**.

The **APC Declaration** emphasized that both the federal and provincial governments have failed to establish peace in **Khyber Pakhtunkhwa**. The recent sectarian violence in **Kurram** led to the loss of over 200 lives, and last month, more than 70 security personnel were martyred. The participants also expressed their concerns over the ongoing security situation in the province.

One of the key decisions taken at the APC was the formation of a **political and technical committee** to protect the financial and political interests of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This committee will engage in dialogue with all stakeholders to address the region’s pressing issues.

The APC further called for the immediate release of the **11th NFC Award** and the **3% due funds** for the merged districts. It also demanded that peaceful **Pashtuns** should not face undue harassment in other provinces or in the capital, **Islamabad**.

It is also important to note that **Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)**, the ruling party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, announced its decision not to participate in the APC convened by Governor Faisal Karim Kundi.
