The United Arab Emirates (UAE) remains a key destination for Pakistani workers, with significant employment opportunities in sectors such as construction, retail, and hospitality. Pakistani expatriates not only support their families financially through remittances but also play a vital role in contributing to the country’s economic growth.
Remittances from overseas workers help strengthen Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves and drive national economic development. The UAE, second only to Saudi Arabia, is one of the largest sources of remittances to Pakistan.
A stable exchange rate is crucial to maintaining the value of these remittances, enabling overseas Pakistanis to better support their families and contribute to the overall economic stability of the country.
