PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Returns from Dubai After Key Talks on ICC Champions Trophy

Islamabad:Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)** Chairman **Mohsin Naqvi**, along with other board officials, has returned to Pakistan after an important visit to Dubai. According to PCB sources, during the trip, the Chairman held several crucial meetings regarding the **ICC Champions Trophy** and presented Pakistan’s conditions to the **International Cricket Council (ICC)**.

Sources revealed that the PCB is firmly standing by its position and is now awaiting a response from **India**. However, due to ongoing holidays in Dubai, the response may take some time.

Upon his return to Pakistan, Chairman Naqvi addressed speculations about Pakistan “surrendering” to India or the ICC. He firmly rejected these rumors, saying, “The stories of Pakistan surrendering are baseless. If we had intended to surrender, both the ICC and India would not have asked for more time.”

Earlier, during discussions in Dubai on Saturday, Mohsin Naqvi had made it clear that Pakistan would not accept a **one-sided decision** regarding the Champions Trophy. He emphasized that any resolution would have to be equitable, ensuring that future ICC events follow the same fair formula. “Decisions must be made on the basis of equality. We cannot be expected to travel to India while they refuse to come to Pakistan,” Naqvi said.

The PCB’s stance is clear: Pakistan is committed to ensuring that the conditions for the **Champions Trophy** are fair and just, and any decision should be in line with the principles of equality and reciprocity.
