Internet Speed Slows Down Across the Country, Affecting Social Media Services
Islamabad: Internet speeds across various regions of the country have once again slowed down, causing disruptions in social media services including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
According to sources, users are facing difficulties in uploading and downloading images, voice notes, and videos. Many are forced to use VPNs to access social media applications. However, even with VPNs, users in several cities are still encountering challenges in accessing these platforms.
Sources suggest that the slowdown is due to the second phase of firewall testing, which has impacted internet services. Despite multiple attempts to reach out, PTA officials have refrained from providing any comments on the ongoing internet issues.
