Saudi Arabia Grants Investor Residency to 1,238 International Investors at Global Investment Conference

RiyadhضAt the 28th Annual Global Investment Conference held in Riyadh from November 25 to 27, Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Investment, Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, announced the granting of investor residency permits to 1,238 international investors. This move is aimed at attracting foreign investment and providing greater opportunities for international investors in the Kingdom.

Al-Falih stated that the investor residency program is a key initiative to encourage foreign investment by offering investors greater ease of access to opportunities in Saudi Arabia. The program is designed to facilitate the establishment of businesses, real estate ownership, and family residency within the Kingdom.

“This initiative is a crucial part of our efforts to make Saudi Arabia a global investment hub, strengthening the economy, creating jobs, and enhancing the skills of the local workforce,” Al-Falih said. He further emphasized that the move aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and position the country as a leading destination for international investments.

The Saudi Special Residency Center offers several types of residency permits, including Investor Residency, Talent Residency, Business Residency, and Property Ownership Residency. These permits allow holders to reside, work, invest, and live with their families in Saudi Arabia.

With the granting of these investor residencies, Saudi Arabia continues to demonstrate its commitment to attracting global investors and fostering a thriving economic environment. The initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the Kingdom’s long-term growth and development goals under Vision 2030.
