Don’t Poke the Malangs! If You Peek Inside My House, That Eye Will Be Gouged Out With a Spear: Maulana Fazlur Rehman
ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat): JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said: don’t poke the malangs! If you peek inside my house, that eye will be gouged out with a spear; in Sharia there is no qisas for gouging out such an eye. Nawaz Sharif was kept out of the country for 10 years on corruption charges, Asif Zardari was kept in jail for 8 years, but today they are the rulers — they have no values.
He was addressing a students’ convention in Islamabad. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said: don’t poke the malangs! They want to provoke us; we will not be provoked. But there is a limit — if you peek inside my house, then that eye will be gouged out with a spear. In Sharia, if someone peeks inside your house, there is no qisas for gouging out his eye.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that you kept Nawaz Sharif out of the country for ten years on corruption charges — today he is the ruler. Asif Zardari was kept in jail for eight years, saying he is corrupt — today he is the president.
یہ ہمیں اشتعال دلانا چاہتے ہیں، ہم مشتعل نہیں ہونگے۔ لیکن ایک حد ہوتی ہے، اگر میرے گھر کے اندر جھانکو گے تو پھر اُس آنکھ کو نیزے سے پھوڑ دیا جائے گا۔ شریعت میں اگر کوئی آپکے گھر کے اندر جھانکتا ہے تو اسکی آنکھ پھوڑنے کا کوئی قصاص نہیں۔

Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that today you must be able to gauge what category of people those who rigged and brought to power through rigging belong to; they have no values. They are not honourable in their own selves; they determine attitudes on the basis of power, not on the basis of morality.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that it was written in the 18th Amendment regarding the provinces’ revenues that they can increase, not decrease. When the provinces’ revenues increased, they began to feel the pain. One eye is on this and one eye is on minerals. They said before the people that we are fighting the war against terrorism — you have been fighting the war against terrorism since 2010.
The disease kept growing as the medicine was given.
You are fighting, and terrorism keeps growing. Earlier it was in the FATA areas; now it has reached Dera Ismail Khan and Lakki Marwat. It has reached Bannu and Dera Ismail Khan. Now look at this too — has this terrorism advanced or been advanced? Why were these conditions not there before in Balochistan and KP, and why are they there today? Why is the state so weak that the terrorist advances and you retreat?
The world wants us to block China’s route; America wants us to invest in the tribal mountains. Did I present mineral samples to President Trump in the Oval Office? You presented the samples — that is your affair. We are not against investment; it is also wrong to block the route of China’s investment.
